Edmund Sonuga-Barke is a Developmental Psychologist working at the Institute of Psychology, Psychiatry and Neuroscience, Kings College London. He is especially interested in the role the environment plays in shaping normal and deviant biological and behavioural systems development and is the principal investigator on the ESRC/MRC funded English and Romanian Adoptees study. Edmund holds guest chairs at Ghent and Aarhus Universities and the University of Sussex. His is the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry. He is a husband (Funke), father (Pascale and Julien), a lifelong Derby County supporter, soul music aficionado and a Roman Catholic. In 2016 he was elected Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences.
